Boyette Petside Manor Boarding
Preparing yourself and your pet for a boarding stay
Tour our facility:
You are welcome to tour our facility anytime during normal business hours to see first hand how your pet will be cared for by our caring staff during his or her stay.
Should I bring my pet’s own food?
You may bring toys, bedding and any other items that you feel may make your pet’s stay feel more like home.
When do I pay?
You pay when you return to pick up your pet. If you wish, you may pre-pay at check in, especially if someone else will be picking up your pet for you. Please provide us with the name of the person authorized to pick up your pet, and ask them to bring their photo ID so we can verify who they are. If you are delayed on your return date and are unable to arrive by closing time, you may contact us and give us the name of the person coming for your pet. We can take payment over the phone for your convenience.
What to expect when your dog returns home:
It is normal for your pet to sleep more than usual once they are back home. It may have taken them some time to adjust to the level of activity in our boarding environment and they most likely will be tired from all the fun they had while you’ve been away.
Gastric upset is also a common possibility upon their return home, and even sometimes while they are still boarding. This is especially true if they are not used to being boarded or are prone to anxious behavior.
Your pet may not want to eat as they usually would. Try to get them back to their normal routine as quickly as possible and give them some time to settle back in. Remember, they have been on vacation too, and although we strive to keep their routine with us as similar to home as possible, nothing can compare to home sweet home!
